National Science Bowl Judge

I am an alumnus and volunteer for the US Department of Energy's National Science Bowl® (NSB) competition. NSB is the reason I am an engineer, and now I spend my springs giving back!

STEM Education

I care deeply about engineering justice and the role of engineers in making decisions. Alongside my research interests, I have also written essays discussing the importance of engineering ethics in undergraduate educations. I also work as an tutor for A Place for Youth, a 501(c)3 in serving South Los Angeles.

Academic Service

I have peer-reviewed for Environmental Systems and Decisions and serve as the secretary of the Decision Analytics and Risk Specialty Group (DARSG) of the Society of Risk Analysis.
